An educational tool
The interactive circle, practice, calculators and printables are made to help you learn trigonometry. They are not a substitute for your teacher, your textbook or your course materials.
Rounded results
Exact values are shown when they exist, for example √3/2. Everything else is a decimal approximation, usually rounded to four decimal places for angles and values and to two or three decimals in triangle results. Rounded numbers can differ slightly from answers worked out by hand or with a different calculator.
Tests, homework and graded work
For exams, assignments and anything that is graded, check the method and the expected format with your teacher or textbook. Conventions vary between courses, for example how to write exact values or whether a reference angle is defined for angles on the axes.
